Which Sydney airport are you flying from? #
Sydney has one international airport today and will have two from 25 October 2026. Sydney Airport (SYD) at Mascot has three terminals and an 11pm–6am curfew. Western Sydney International (WSI) at Badgerys Creek opens to passengers on 25 October 2026 with a single terminal for both domestic and international flights, and no curfew at all.
In the west that turns a logistics question into a genuine choice. By road, Penrith is about 58 km from Sydney Airport and 24 km from WSI, while Parramatta is about 26 km from one and 39 km from the other. Which airport your airline uses decides the trip as much as where you live.
How much is an airport transfer in Sydney? #
A sedan is from $88 one way from Inner West to Sydney Airport, and from $119 from Penrith to Western Sydney International, GST included — the lowest fares of the areas we list. The fare is built from the vehicle and the distance from your actual pickup address, not from a zone map or a meter, and it includes the typical corridor tolls and the NSW passenger service levy.

How far ahead should I book an airport transfer? #
As soon as you have the flight. Requesting early costs nothing extra — the fare is set by distance and vehicle, not by how close to departure you book — and it leaves time to confirm a vehicle that actually fits your group.
Pre-dawn departures are the ones worth arranging furthest ahead. Sydney Airport's curfew lifts at 6am, so the first flights of the day leave close together and the pickups for them all fall in the same few hours before dawn.
What happens if my flight is delayed? #
Your booking carries the flight number and the flight is tracked, so the pickup time follows the actual landing rather than the printed schedule. If you land early the driver is already adjusting; if you are two hours late, nobody is sitting at the kerb billing you for it.
The waiting window for airport pickups is measured from touchdown rather than from your original scheduled time — which is the detail that decides whether flight tracking is real or decorative.
Do you cover my suburb? #

If your suburb is not listed by name it is very likely still covered: the areas are broad regions rather than postcode boundaries, and the fare is calculated from your real address in any case.
Transfer, taxi, train or rideshare — which should you take? #
For one or two people travelling light from a well-connected suburb, the train is usually the cheapest way to Sydney Airport and we say so plainly. The station access fee is the catch: it is charged per person, each way, and sits outside the Opal daily and weekly caps.
A booked transfer wins on groups, luggage and hours: that fee multiplies with every traveller while a vehicle fare does not, and before the first train of the day there is no rail fare to compare. The Sydney Metro line to the airport will not be open when passenger flights begin. Until it opens, the rail connection is St Marys station plus the free WSI Link shuttle. Give us the traveller's name and mobile on that call so the driver contacts the right person. No account is needed on either side.
What is the cancellation policy?
The windows and refund amounts are published on the refund policy page and applied as written, measured against your scheduled pickup time when the cancellation is received. To cancel or change a trip, tell us when we call or email bookings@wsitransfers.com.au. Until the payment link is paid nothing is booked, so there is nothing to cancel.
