Booking & fares

How do I book?

Get your fixed fare online, leave your name and mobile, and we call you back; nothing is paid on this website. Step by step: 1. enter the address, airport, date and time, passengers, luggage and extras, and your fare is shown in full; 2. leave your name, mobile and email; 3. we call to confirm the vehicle and the fare; 4. we send a secure payment link, and your trip is booked once it's paid.

Is the fare fixed once I book?

Yes. Your trip is booked when you pay the secure payment link we send after confirming the vehicle and the fare with you, and from then the price does not move — traffic, weather and queues are our problem. Only changing the trip itself changes the fare.

Do you surge price?

Never. Trips from 10pm to 5.59am carry a 20% late-night component, and public holidays 15% — fixed percentages published on the pricing page, not demand algorithms.

How do I pay?

By the secure payment link we send after our call. Nothing is paid on this website: you get your fare online, we call you back to confirm the vehicle and the fare, and your trip is booked once the link is paid.

How do I change or cancel?

Reply to our call, or email bookings@wsitransfers.com.au with your name, mobile and travel date. Nothing is booked until you've paid the secure payment link we send, so until then there is nothing to cancel. Once it's paid, cancellation windows and refunds follow the policy published on the pricing page.

Airports & flights

Do you serve both Sydney airports?

Yes — Sydney Kingsford Smith (SYD) today, and Western Sydney International (WSI) from 25 October 2026, its first day of passenger flights. You can already get a fixed fare for WSI travel dates.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

We track your flight number and the driver's schedule moves with your actual landing time. Airport pickups include a generous free-waiting window measured from touchdown.

Which terminal will my driver go to?

The one your flight number says. SYD's T1/T2/T3 split is handled automatically; WSI has a single integrated terminal.

Where do I meet my driver?

We tell you where to meet your driver at your terminal when we call to confirm the trip. Add meet & greet and the driver comes to the arrivals exit with a name board.

Children, luggage & vehicles

Do you provide child seats?

Yes — NSW-compliant rear-facing, forward-facing and booster seats, fitted before pickup and priced per seat. NSW law requires them for children under seven.

How is luggage counted?

Honestly. Each vehicle publishes its real capacity for passengers, large bags and carry-ons; oversized items like golf bags consume large-bag space. Declare everything and the recommendation genuinely fits.

What's the biggest group you can move?

Eleven passengers in one maxi van. Larger groups can be split across coordinated vehicles — arrange via the contact page.

Can I bring a pet?

Yes, in a suitable carrier — select the pet-friendly extra at booking so the right vehicle is assigned.

Maxi taxis & maxi cabs

What is the difference between a maxi taxi and a maxi cab?

In everyday use, nothing — both describe a van seating about seven to eleven passengers with room for their luggage. The legal difference is between taxis, which are licensed for rank and hail work and can charge a metered fare, and hire vehicles, which are booked in advance for a fare agreed up front. We operate booked hire vehicles, so there is no meter and no rank pickup.

How many people can a maxi cab carry in Sydney?

Up to eleven passengers in the maxi van, which also carries up to ten large bags. Seven and eight-seat people movers carry four large bags each. Child seats occupy a passenger seat and oversized items such as golf bags consume large-bag space, so the booking tool sizes the vehicle from your real numbers rather than the seat count alone.

Can an 11-seater maxi taxi fit a group's airport luggage?

Our 11-seat maxi van does: ten large suitcases plus eight carry-on bags, which is what makes it useful for an airport run rather than merely large. It is a booked hire vehicle, not a taxi. A group of nine with a case each and hand luggage fits comfortably. Declare golf bags, surfboards or a boxed bike separately: each consumes the space of two large suitcases.

What is the best maxi taxi for Sydney Airport?

The smallest vehicle that genuinely fits your group and luggage — a larger vehicle costs more, so sizing upward is not doing you a favour. We supply booked hire vehicles rather than taxis: for up to seven passengers with four large bags the people mover is usually right; beyond that, or with six or more large bags, the eleven-seat maxi van. The booking tool recommends and shows the alternatives with the price difference.

Can I book a maxi taxi with a child seat in Sydney?

You can book one of our seven to 11-seat hire vehicles, the kind people search for as a maxi taxi, with child seats. Choose rear-facing, forward-facing or booster seats when you get your fare and they are fitted before the driver reaches your door. NSW law requires an approved restraint for every child under seven, matched to age and size. Each seat occupies a passenger seat, so give the children's ages up front rather than on the night.

How much does a maxi taxi cost from Parramatta to Sydney Airport?

From $152 one way in a seven-seat people mover, and from $187 in the 11-seat maxi van, for a trip of about 26 km by road. These are booked hire vehicles rather than taxis, so the fare is agreed up front instead of metered, and it includes typical corridor tolls, the passenger service levy and GST. Your exact fare is calculated from your real pickup address, and every vehicle class is priced on the Parramatta to Sydney Airport page.

Service & trust

Do you do early-morning and late-night trips?

Yes. Pre-dawn departures and late-night arrivals can be requested like any other trip, and trips from 10pm to 5.59am carry a 20% late-night surcharge that is shown in your fare. Western Sydney International, which opens to passengers on 25 October 2026, has no curfew; Sydney Airport has an 11pm to 6am curfew.

Is waiting time charged?

Airport pickups include a free-waiting window from actual landing; door pickups include a shorter one. Beyond that, waiting is charged per the published policy on the pricing page.

Do I get a receipt?

Yes. Once your trip is paid, reply to our call or email bookings@wsitransfers.com.au with your name and travel date and we send you a receipt. Corporate accounts can consolidate receipts.
